Alumni Association
Commencement from one of our programs does not necessarily mean the end of the relationship between Westover and its clients. The Westover Alumni Association was formed in 1986 by a group of grateful former clients and is open to any person who has completed treatment in any of the Residential Substance Dependence or Co-dependence Programs at Westover.
It is also open to persons who have been actively involved in Westover's work.
Purposes
- To foster a spirit of mutual support among its members to further goals of the Association.
- To create a climate of mutual respect and cooperation between its members and the Treatment Centre.
- To assist the Westover Treatment Centre in meeting its goals.
- To raise funds and resources for its growth and development and that of the Westover Treatment Centre.
- To be and remain a non-profit organization and a public service association.
- An Alumni Annual General Meeting is held in May of each year at which time nominations and elections for executive positions are held.
