Win $1000 cash in Westover’s Logo Contest
Thamesville – If you are creative, artistic and can translate design to a computer application you could win $1000 cash just in time for Christmas shopping in the Westover Treatment Centre’s 20th Anniversary Logo contest.
Established in 1986 the Westover Treatment Centre has treated more than 8000 clients and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2006.
To celebrate this milestone of achievement Westover will be holding a number of special events throughout 2006 including a Kickoff Weekend in April and a Homecoming Weekend in June. Events will include special speakers, a picnic, Celebrity golf tournament and softball games, a multi-faith service, concerts, a gala dinner and much more.
In order to give the entire celebration a unique identity Westover is reaching out to the community to design a 20th anniversary logo which will be incorporated into signage, banners and souvenirs.

The winning submission and cheque presentation will be made on Monday December 20, 2005. The winning submission will become the exclusive property of the Westover Treatment Centre.

Contest Rules
To participate in the Westover Treatment Centre Logo Contest you must be an Ontario resident. Employees and contractors of the Westover Treatment Centre and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
With regard to the winning entry submitted as part of the Contest and in consideration of the $1000 cash prize, you grant Westover Treatment Centre a worldwide, perpetual, fully paid-up, non-exclusive license to make, sell, or use the winning design and it becomes the sole property of the Westover Treatment to use for any purpose it determines.
If you are selected as the contest winner, you agree that the Westover Treatment Centre may publicize your name, likeness, and the description of work you did to win the contest. Apart from the prize associated with being selected as a winner, the Westover Treatment Centre shall not be obligated to compensate the winner in any way for such publicity.
One $1000 cash prize will be awarded to the winning entry. If the winning entry is submitted by more than one individual, the $1,000 cash prize will be divided equally among the participants who submit the winning entry.
Each entrant shall indemnify, defend, and hold the Westover Treatment Centre harmless from any third party claims arising from or related to that entrant's participation in the Contest. In no event shall the Westover Treatment Centre be liable to an entrant for acts or omissions arising out of or related to the Contest or that entrant's participation in the Contest.
All taxes, including income taxes, are the sole responsibility of winners. No prize substitution is permitted. Winner may be required to verify their entry.

Notifications
The winning entry will be announced on the Westover Treatment Centre web site at www.westover-fdn.org on December 20, 2005. Following the announcement, the winning submission will be notified by phone. The winning entry has 30 days from notification to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
